With deep appreciation, we share the resignation of Sarah Dingivan, who has served as CEO and Executive Director of San Antonio Legal Services Association (SALSA) since 2020.
Sarah assumed the role at a pivotal time for the organization, at the onset of the global COVID pandemic. She led the growth of SALSA during a time of extraordinary need. With support from the community, SALSA has grown from a startup nonprofit into a trusted legal resource serving thousands of individuals and families throughout the greater San Antonio area.
Reflecting on the decision, Sarah shared:
“Helping launch and grow SALSA has been a privilege. As I step back from my leadership role, I look forward to spending more time with my family and continuing to advance access to justice from a new position of service.”
The Board of Directors has begun the search for the next Executive Director and is focused on a thoughtful and smooth transition. During this transition period, SALSA Managing Attorney Robert Mihara will serve as Interim Executive Director. Please join us in celebrating Sarah’s lasting contributions and in reaffirming our shared commitment to the continued fight to close the justice gap.
