SALSA’s Wills Clinic July 12, 2022 (Translator Volunteers)

Join us for our in-person Wills Clinic! The Wills Clinic will take place at St. Mary’s Law School’s Center for Legal and Social Justice located at 2507 NW 36th St, San Antonio, TX 78228.

Assist Habitat for Humanity families, veterans and other clients of our partner organizations with obtaining estate planning documents, to include a Will, Statutory Durable POA, Medical POA, HIPAA Release and Directive to Physicians. This will be a done-in-a-day in-person clinic to draft estate planning documents onsite. Volunteer commitment is about 3 hours.

At the clinic, volunteer translators will assist Spanish-speaking clients and their volunteer attorney with drafting their estate documents. At the end of the clinic, the translators will work with the attorney, volunteer notaries, and law students serving as witnesses to sign all the estate planning documents.
